To consider the proposal that The Wellington District Law Society adopt the unitary law society model for amalgamation of law societies under the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 and, if thought appropriate, vote on the resolution "That the members of The Wellington Districk Law Society, having considered a draft Constitution for a unitary law society model and a draft Memorandum of Understanding between District Law Societies in relation to that model, hereby approve the execution on behalf of this District of the Memorandum of Understanding." |
